Welcome and thank you for considering The Alcazar Resort on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The Alcazar opened in early 2006 and is owned and operated by the Worthington Guesthouse, with both resorts located together on the same compound. Guests of the Alcazar & Worthington share the same outdoor amenities, including two clothing optional Heated Pools and Hot tub, which are open 24 hours for your enjoyment. You may go back and forth from one property to the other through garden walkways. Both resorts cater to an all-male clientele and tend to draw an interesting mix of U.S. & International travelers.
The Alcazar is located on the Barrier Islands, two short blocks from the sandy shores of Fort Lauderdale Beach. A short walk along the seawall brings you to the well-known Sebastian Street Gay Beach. The resort is centrally located to all Gay Fort Lauderdale nightlife, Shopping and a large variety of restaurants. Wilton Manors, where some of the most popular Gay bars, restaurants and novelty stores are located, is only minutes away.
Start your day off with continental breakfast featuring Starbucks Coffee, Fresh Squeezed OJ, Cereals, bagels and a variety of pastries. Take pleasure in listening to calm morning music, which will gently awaken you. Take a morning swim or a walk to the Gay Beach and watch the waves roll in. You can always take a 30-minute ride to South Beach for a day of shopping at the Lincoln mall and Lunch on Ocean Drive. Poolside at the Resorts you will enjoy some of the best DJ remixes and hard to find music, played at a comfortable listening volume. All music is turned off at 8:00PM. Weekend cocktail parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are held at the main Worthington Courtyard where a good time is had by all.

In October 2006, the Alcazar pool and courtyard received a total makeover, so watch for the photos. Follow I-95 NORTH to Sunrise Blvd heading EAST until reaching the Ocean at A1A (Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd). Turn RIGHT onto A1A heading SOUTH to Windamar St, Turn RIGHT heading WEST 2 blocks to N Birch Rd. The Alcazar Resort is on the right.
From Miami International Airport
Exit the airport and follow the signs to I-95 north. Follow I-95 north to Fort Lauderdale, exit Sunrise Blvd. east to A1A (Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd.) Turn right (south) on A1A to third traffic light and turn right on Terramar Street. The Alcazar Resort is just two and a half blocks down on the right.
